What We Do
Pawsitive Steps Towards Mental Health and Wellbeing Expo – an annual community event that promotes mental health awareness in a holistic manner together with overall wellbeing. Mental health and other wellbeing service providers are there to let sufferers and carers know what help is available. And of course, those 4 legged creatures who provide us with so much affection and support when we are down, our pet dogs, are invited. This is a Dog Day Out and Coco, our Mascot, always makes and appearance.
The Hills Women’s Shed is the first of its kind in the Hills Shire and was launched in February 2018. It gives women in the community the opportunity share their knowledge, learn life skills and end isolation.”
As a means of early intervention to prevent mental health problems developing, we also run or fund programmes, focussed on mental health. Our main programme is Mindful Coco which are Mindfulness workshops that can be tailored to any age group for schools or workplaces.
Masquerade Ball – our annual fundraising event to support our activities and programmes. Although this is a fun filled evening of entertainment and dancing, there is a serious side as we have a keynote speaker who has overcome or has experience in dealing with mental illness to tell their story.

Coco – Our Mascot
“Coco gave comfort and support to one family where a child was diagnosed with cancer. Coco was the inspiration for Pawsitive Steps and the Positive Vibes Foundation. Come and hear her story.
