Queenie Tran
Program Manager – The Hills Women’s Shed B.Couns (Hons I), Registered Counsellor (ACA)
Queenie is a dedicated and passionate registered counsellor committed to empowering individuals to live with purpose, align with their core values, and create balance in all areas of life. With a strong focus on women’s mental health, she takes a holistic and preventative approach, believing that the right skills and strategies can foster a more fulfilling and resilient life.
As a group facilitator at Kellyville Private Hospital, Queenie specialises in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She leads the Women’s Wellbeing Program and delivers workshops on essential mental health topics, helping individuals build a strong foundation for long-term emotional wellness.
Married and a proud mother to 3 boys, Queenie is deeply passionate about supporting families in building strong, balanced, and connected relationships. She believes in embracing life’s precious moments and appreciating the little things that create a wholesome family unit. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to podcasts, family bike rides, pickleball, bushwalking, camping and 4WD adventures. She also cherishes time spent sharing meals with family and friends. If 3 kids wasn't enough, she’s also kept busy by her two beloved pets—Archie, the cat, and Mango, the bearded dragon.
Why Positive Vibes?
I feel incredibly grateful to be part of an organisation that is deeply committed to promoting mental wellbeing across all ages. The strong sense of community, where everyone supports one another, makes this work truly rewarding. Having been part of the Hills community all my life, it’s an honour to give back in such a meaningful way. I’m especially proud of how far The Hills Women’s Shed has come—it has truly become a safe and empowering space for women, and I feel blessed to focus on this part of the organisation as the Program Manager.
